Gene Damschroder Sr. who was 86, was flying the single engine Cessna when it went down around one pm. The Ohio State Highway Patrol commented.
The five passengers flying with Gene Damschroder also died in the crash when they were riding for a charity event.
“He’s flown enough; this is puzzling,” his son said.
