We’ve all heard the hubbub of the new Alien Video in Denver by Jeff Peckman. He claims to have undeniable, infallible proof that aliens do in fact exist. He held a private showing of the video today for the press. But REQUIRED all video and photographic equipment to be shut off while he showed the film to the viewers and the media.

The general consensus is the alien video is in fact not real. It is a fake alien video. Jeff Peckman does have ulterior motives however. He seeks to take this “proof” and start an Extraterrestrial Affairs Commission. This commission would help save Denver from an alien attack should there ever be one? A little cooky? Most definitely.

But seeing how this alien video is in all likely hood a fraud. It does beg the question:

Would we ever no a “real” alien video if we saw one? Would any video evidence be enough proof?

Think about the American mindset. We are skeptical by nature. We don’t believe anything we’re told anymore. And now with the technology in movies and special effects we witness on a daily basis–even the most mundane cheap television commecials. We see CGI, special effects and all sorts of “television magic”.

Are we so numb to videos that no matter how realistic, and how seemingly incontrovertible a video may look, we will automatically dismiss it based on the fact that it “just can’t be real”.

Or are we discerning enough as a population to except something on video evidence alone? I’m thinking not. The only true incontrovertible proof of aliens existing would be mass quantities of people seeing LIVE an undeniable alien or alien craft. Stray Lights. Grainy videos. Grainy photos. These just aren’t going to cut the proof of aliens on earth. No Real Alien Video is every going to prove anything.
